Office Update: We wanted to update our patients and friends about office procedures that have recently changed. We are taking these protocols very seriously. As we are adhering to state and federal recommendations our office will remain open at this time. However, we are reducing our patient hours to M, W, and F for the time being. Additionally, massage and acupuncture will pause this week as a precaution to keep everyone safe and healthy. Lastly, all patients who come in for treatment will be screened outside of the office by filling out a questionnaire and having their temperature recorded by office staff. These are extra steps we have taken on top of additional cleaning and disinfecting measures, reducing office traffic, and wiping all public surfaces and equipment after each patient as stated in previous post.
Chiropractic offices are referred to as essential business for several reasons. First, there are patients currently suffering from serious injuries or trauma related injuries that need continued care. Even though everything around us has stopped, pain doesn't. Chiropractic can help. Secondly, sitting more, being on your phone more, working from home, poor quality of sleep, and high stress levels make our community more susceptible to injury and illness. Chiropractic care can help. Lastly, there are individuals with new injuries, pulled muscles, muscle spasms, headaches, migraines, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, and other musculoskeletal complaints that would otherwise end up in Urgent Care or Hospitals for treatment. This needs to be avoided at all costs. Medical staff and institutions are already extremely over crowded and overwhelmed. Chiropractic care can help.
Chiropractors are primary health physicians who are extremely qualified to diagnose and treat all muscluoskeletal conditions. When you see a chiropractor, medical facilities, hospitals, and emergency rooms have more availability to help those suffering from this virus. Additionally you don't risk yourself and your family contracting the virus by avoiding these places whenever possible.
